TROPICAL FU*K STORM Australian Tour Announcement New Single ‘Teeth Marché’

Australian freak-rockers Tropical Fu*k Storm are often unhinged, noisy, and on the brink of a meltdown. For ‘Goon Show,’ though, the act furrows its brow and leans into a plotting, menacing tone. Propelled by a sputtering synth line and drum pads, they throw their trademark psychedelic embellishments over the relatively restrained instrumental — that is, until the wall of noisy guitars hits. From there, you’re whisked away in the storm until it finally spits you out with the rest of the debris.” - Consequence (Best Songs of the Week)

Tropical Fu*k Storm’s highly anticipated fourth album, ‘Fairyland Codex,’ out June 20th, 2025, on their new label home Fire Records. To celebrate, they are thrilled to announce their Australian album tour dates. Brisbane, don’t get your knickers in a knot, we have news for you in the coming weeks.

Gut Health and Mess Esque will join TFS at the Forum on June 6th as part of Rising Festival.

New single, ‘Teeth Marché, ’ glints with gold tooth pleasantries and discordant love, and a promise of everlasting affection reverberates alongside a thumping bass line. The accompanying new music video, directed by Alexandra Millen (A Velvet Curtain Production, Melbourne), is a kaleidoscopic adventure down at the pool which has a retro, new wave cinematic flair featuring feminist water ballerinas The Clamms and layered animation from frequent collaborator Nespy 5 euro.

“Two languages jammed together, clutching at sense like the rest of the world. Marché: market, marché: walk, teeth: les dents, marcia marcia marcia: the Brady bunch. The Teeth Market, the Teeth Walk, our attempt at a laid back wonky jam which contemplates a vision of plunder that is played out in romance, in a climate emergency, in murderous political zeniths- those who take, take, take, lick their lips and want more,” says Erica Dunn.

Recorded with co-producer Michael Beach at the band’s Dodgy Brothers studio in Nagambie, Australia, the songs on ‘Fairyland Codex’ immerse us in the chaos of a fateful landslide, picking out the characters that litter the impending collapse of society.

‘Teeth Marché’ follows previous singles Goon Show’a surreal, sharp-edged slice of their signature chaos, ‘Bloodsport’ with vocals from Erica Dunn, filled with well-schooled social anarchy, Talking Heads-styled funk and a stuttering guitar break, and ‘Dunning Kruger’s Loser Cruiser’ a classic overestimation of knowledge with a ranting preacher highlighted over a disenfranchised choir of would-be non-believers, named for The Dunning–Kruger effect, a cognitive bias in which people with limited competence in a particular domain overestimate their abilities. The latter two are paired with animated video collages directed by kindred spirit Nespy 5Euro.

Tropical Fuck Storm are gearing up for a World Tour over the next year, including stops at End Of The Road Festival, Manchester Psych Fest, with legs across North America in parts of the summer and fall, and plans to perform as part of the Ice Cream Floats Cruise presented by Modest Mouse in early 2026.
